Web & Graphic Designer
Job Description:
Hallmark Channel is the quintessential 24-hour television destination for family-friendly programming and a leader in the production of original movies.
The Creative Services Department has a staff position available. The Web/Graphic Designer is responsible for creating the online identity and online marketing materials for the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel brands. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creation of original websites, landing pages, banners, email campaigns and other various online based creative projects.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum three years web design
- Undergraduate degree in related field
- Must have Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash experience
- Must have experience working with Photography and key art
- Must have experience creating and modifying web page layouts
- Must have strong typographical skills
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated understanding of web browsers and their limitations
- Ability to develop concepts and carry out solutions that maintain Hallmark Channel brand
- Attention to detail, consistency and accuracy
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, project details and tight deadlines
- Strong technical, organizational and communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree, with a major in Graphic Arts or Design
- Dreamweaver experience
